Default looking for suggestions

HI Everyone

I have just registered on here and I am looking for some sound advise and guidance, I currently own a F(J) which I am starting to restore / street fighter, I want to upgrade the whole front end as the brakes just dont seem up to the job for what I am used to (Last bike was a ZX7R Ninja), does anyone know what other models can I swap straight in for the top and bottom yolkes? I would prefer upside down forks and have been looking at the newer 600's for this mod.

any suggestions or advise is welcome.

welcome to the forums. check out the thread titled "racing my cbr600". i believe that guy is in england also, and is using F2 forks. i think some of the guys in his class are using R6 forks, not sure if inverted, and not sure if its a straight bolt on. you might think about upgrading the pads and switching to stainless braided brakes lines.
