Default 94 900 rr chain

now i just busted my chain up the other day and about 2-3 quarts of oil fell to the ground, where the hell was this oil coming from and im geared up in the back how would i know what size chain to get, just assume im 10 up in the back, what chain would i look for so i can figure the calculations out and buy the appropriate chain

UH-OH!! Sounds as if your flying chain may have smacked the engine cases under the countershaft sprocket cover..if that happened you may need a new engine case, or get real lucky with some JB WELD..
If you buy cases it is a good idea to but them as a set since they usually are matched...but that is expensive, both in parts and especially in labor..
and if your chain broke..was it from being wornout?? If so you need both sprockets and chain, since they are "mated" or they wear together. If you put a new chain on your old sprockets ( even if they look ok, they will not look ok very long if you do this) it will wear out all of the components very quickly!!

and what ever you get, make sure to get the PROPER chain ( tensile strength) otherwise you will have this problem again...and a chain for a big bike is usually a bit more than a chain for a smaller displacement chain
