I like the black one. That's pretty cool.

The other one is a monstrosity.
Not your fault at all, and it looks like you did a nice job with the paint.... but what the hell is the owner thinking?

It's a 900RR. They were awesome bikes and they still are. Plus, I think the new colors are hideous. The old yellow/black/white was pretty sharp... and a classic scheme, imo.

Also, did I mention that it's a 900RR??
WTF is right.
He should have bought a gixxer1k and put 'busa stickers on it.

I couldn't agree with you more. Why anyone would want to do this to their bike is beyond me. Anyone who knows the slightest thing about Honda will know what a 1000RR looks like.....and it doesn't look like that.

Yes, yes it is...
Maybe I will be blessed enough to see him get called out and bashed about it and in someway get back that part of my soul.

As the 900-wanna-be-thousand gets out of here there was one bit of good news. I was allowed to remove the big *** skull off the wind screen.

Of the 2 CBRs one came in with 900 marking and left with 1000's. The 954 came in with 1000 on the tail. Just finished the job and sent it out today. Only mods other than paint were the turn indicator mirrors & the plate mount on the rear. I am digging the "FireBlade" on the tail.

most people wouldn't know the difference, and the ones that do...namely those that do have 1000RRs, will catch it right away. chances are, your two customers don't have the chops to ride their 900s to full potential, and want to make up for it with more show than go. they will learn, or they hang with people who wouldn't know the difference, anyway.
