Default Two Brothers Exhaust Smell

Just got done installing my two brothers exhaust on my 600rr and it smells really bad now. Im wondering if it is just the fiberglass burning off from the inside of the pipe or maybesome extrahigh temp sealant burning or something. Anyone else had this problem? If so, how long does it typically last?

Thanks,
- B

Thats exactly what it is. Shouldnt take too long to get it broken in. A good long ride should take care of it.

Could also be oil or grease from your hands that rubbed off on the pipe while installing it. Should go away soon.

+1 ^ seasoned the pipe and it wont be smelling///dont forget you are starting the bike on a fresh install seating the gasket goo (RTV black) so that could be one of the smells add that to new fiberglass....there ya go..
