Exhaust smell

Exhaust smell
I used to keep my bike indoors. I'd ride, let it cool about an hour and then park it in my living room. That was about 2 years ago.
Now, after my ride I pull into my garage and an hour later I can still smell exhaust. Not only, the smell is in my clothing, skin, hair, etc and I can't go around "civilized" people without having a shower first.
By all that I can tell, there are no fluid leaks or exhaust leaks. Is this a symptom of worn out exhaust packing (Muzzy Slip-on)?

I run my bikes a little lean for extra oomph and they still smell. Rich will smell more like gasoline where non rich will still have a strong burnt fuel smell. There is nothing you can do about it. I think that is the point of the catalytic converter on cars, to burn up those fumes and reduce the pollution. I may be wrong though.

My bike has always given my clothes a little smell, but I always chocked that up to having an undertail exhaust.
As others have said, you could be running richer for some reason. Plugs could be at worn and the gap has increased from wear, which would could cause a weaker spark. It certainly sounds like your not getting full combustion for some reason though.
Maybe the FPR on the way out?
How has the fuel mileage been?
Another thought though. Does your state run "winter fuel". I only ask because we have winter grade fuel here in Michigan, and it does smell different. I don't know if it would cause what your smelling, but its a thought.
I would also wonder if you had perhaps begun using a different gas station than before, or a different time of the week. If you are using a gas station that doesn't get as turnaround, you could be getting some bad gas. Also, concerning the time of week. If the tanks are being filled around the time you are getting gas, it can stir up the setiment in their tanks and you could be pumping it in your bike.
