I have a 04 1000 and everytime i ride i smell exhaust like super strong. Its not comin from the tail section thou more from the front actually. What could be the issue...header gaskets maybe?

 

Do you have an after market exhasut. Casue I used to smell mine a bit, but it went away. I have the full rs-5 yosh.

 

If its an aftermarket pipe it will smell until the anti-rust compound cooks off. This has a smell different from exhaust. If you have astock pipe start the bike and look for a leak. If you can't see it leaking but still smell ithold a lit cigarette around where the head pipe goes into the engine. Go all aronud every head pipe and if it is leaking you'll see the smoke being sucked in.
