You're kidding with this **** right? Yes.....with out a speedo healer and an accurate measuring tool to begin with to set it, it's going to be off. If it's regeared it's off even more. No......it's HIGHLY unlikely your bike went anywhere near a true 168mph. I dont doubt one bit that your speedo said it though. Too bad they dont tell the truth even at 60. They are off by a percentage........so the higher you climb the worse it gets. Nice try though.

I have seen an indicated 165 on my 06 CBR, but on the dyno, with no wind resistance, top speed was 159mph.
