stupid ?

what is the high side of the bike and the low side

imagine low siding as if your going into a turn and the bike washes out from under you . high siding would be if you went over the "high" side (top of the bike) and crashed.

hope i explained that right. not very technical but you should get the idea

low siding is when the side of the bike closest to the ground goes out... ie left turn left side. High siding is the top part of the bike... ie left turn right side. its better to burn out, or even lowside, than to highside from what ive heard.

havoc is completely right just thought id try a bit more detail []

I seen Spies highside at Elkhart Lakes and still take second.... .4 seconds behind Mladin...but yeah lowside if you wanna go down or have to.... is the way to go...so you can slide...

Low side - you and the bike slide on the ground
High side - the bike throws you off, and you and the bikecatch air

go into a curve really hot and lean too far
that would be a low side

now go into a curve really hot and stomp your rear brake
that would be a high side
