Bought a new right side fairing from Ron Ayers and installed the replacement tank cover you see in the photo above. Fairings hold tight now with no pop outs........if that would not have worked i was going to race fairings next....maybe i should have done that anyway but oh well.

 

Hah - race fairings eventually are held together with zip ties and duct tape
