Default Shinko's

so if you guys have a set id like to know how they hold up and if you dont would like to know what you have heard. I have been researching them and from what i gather yokohama stopped making tires for bikes and shinko took over the factory and all the research development. i want to learn more about these tires, i believe they might be the start of a new good tire. But then again i ve been nown to be wrong once or twice. just ask my girl friend.lol

I got the Raven 009's front and rear from motorcycle superstore for $160 and love them. I do a lot of highway riding with the occasional twisties on the weekend and they have done way better than expected for the price. The only downside is that you really have to warm them up before you lean into a turn so i usually wait 10 minutes before i get really aggressive in the turns. Maybe go with a softer tire like the 006 if you need more stickiness.

I've got the shinko 005 radial, had'em 2x out bak and they're good mileage tires, had a pilot power 2ct on the front of my 600, tire had maybe 3k on it and still looked new when I sold the bike again its a tire you'll have to heat before you ride it hard. Am gona try shinko 003 next. For the price I think the shinkos are great highway tires( 80 miles round trip to work for me). Hope this helps

I'm happy with the 005's I have. Just got them a couple weeks back and like the feel of them so far. I can tell by the wear and feel I can easily get more aggressive with them if I need to. But right now I'm taking things easy while I get accustomed to my bike andmake sure she's 100%
