well its been a whole year. i know i have learned alot about my bike in the past three years.

to me it sounds like your chain is to loose. i think the recommended slack is like 1 3/8 inch. any more then that and it will clack and sound awful. you might want to check your cam chain/tensioner. how man miles are on your bike?
