Price opinions for 03/04 and 06 RRs...
With my F3 on vacation for repairs...I've gotten a "new-er" bike itch. I was getting close to jumping on the Kaw bandwagon w/ a 05 ZX6R......but latelly I've been leaning back to CBRs.
A few bikes I'm considering include a "mint" 04 RR w/ 19K miles (asking $3700), a 03 RR w/ 9K miles plus stand (asking $3000), and a curious 06 RR "clean title" and exhaust ($3000)...I'm still trying to dig up more details on that last one. There is some appeal on the 04 for me, but 19K seems high mileage for bikes in this region ( Michigan). Opinions? Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I just boughtt a 03 600rr with a blown motor for 1500.00. I hope it goes well for me on finding a motor. I bought it to fix and resell but know that I sold my gsxr600 I want to keep it. I have to many bikes but I really like the power of this double r's.
I went from a 2000 F4 to an 03 RR and I am so much more happy with the RR. Don't get me wrong, the F4 was a fantastic bike, but he RR is what I wanted. The bike came stock and I have since made some nice updates. So here is my suggestions.
Go with the 03 or the 06. Leave the 04 alone. The 03 and 04 are the same bike, so if you go with the 03 with less mile it will be better for you. If you can get an 06 for the same price, I would go with the 06. Updated bike with better suspension. Enjoy the hunt.

Thanks for the feedback. That '06 is looking like a scam...totally mint bike w/ only 4K miles on it, seller posted the bike in Michigan, but turns out he is going to ship the bike from Mass....free of charge, with no commitment to buy. Yep, I'll still be on the hunt as long as the weather holds out....

yeah...gets better. Plates on the bike in all the photos is a totally different state too..not MI or MS. I keep asking why the bike is for sale, but the email responses just elaborate on payment through ebay...never answers my question or even uses my name. I even mentioned that I have friends in his area that can check out the bike and save him shipping costs. Just wants my full name and address, then he says Ebay will contact me with information regarding payment and shipping. I send payment to Ebay, which holds the payment until I approve of the bike and agree to purchase, upon which Ebay will release payment to him. Otherwise, if I decline, he will even ship the bike back at his expense. Waaaaaaay to good to be true. I'm guessing the "ebay" contact will probably be a fake link/email to sucker my CC or account password.
