Hello all - long time member of the forums and first time with this sort of question.... I have only put a few miles on my 929 this year due to busy family situation - bought it from a friend a few years back - it has had a pretty quiet life so far.

If I can get a fair price, I am considering selling my red/black 2001 CBR 929RR. It is not the Erion edition.
I live in SE Pennsylvania and do not see many of these for sale lately.... just wondering what I could expect to get from a sale this time of year.

I am 42 years old and really baby this bike - it has about 7500 miles...always garaged - new front tire in last 500 miles - Akrapovic full system and power commander. Rest of bike is stock and just a few very minor scratches from garage mishaps - never laid over or dropped. Basically looks new. What do you think is a fair price for private sale?

How much would it take to make you feel good about parting with it?
If I got $3500 for mine, which is on the higher end of it's value, I would feel I let it go for too little. My bike is worth more to me than it's worth price wise. I would need enough to replace it at least....

 

Thanks for the offers! So if $3500 is on the high side maybe I will keep it - I guess it can't hurt to list it somewhere for $4200 and see what happens.
