RE: powder coating swing arm
I just finished powdercoating my 2004 swing arm and engine covers, and I even did the lower shock mount and dog bone, and upper shock mount, along with every nut/bolt in the rear end of the bike.

I hung my bike from a MicroLam beam in my basement using three wratchet straps...it stayed there for almost 6 weeks, no problems. Just make sure you loosen the bolts while the bike is still on it's tires because you don't want to be pushing hard on those straps...plus I had a front wheel trailer stand to hold it secure, it worked great.
PM me and I can tell you how to do the needle bearings and stuffand let you know the mistakes I made so it doesn't happen to you too.
