Default powder coating swing arm

ok so i've decided to get my swing arm and all the other silver things on my bike powder coated black... my biggest concern is how to support the bike while the swing arm is off... the only thing i could think of is remove the underbody fairing anduse a 5 gal. bucket under but that doesn't seem like it would be very stable and obviously i don't want it to fall..

so anyone thats had the swing arm off let me know how you did it

Easy man, get you two bolts from Autozone or a local hardware store that have the same size like the bolts on the swingarms, you can use those new bolts for support while the swingarms are off.

I would jack up the bike from the oil pan, mount my bike on jack stands via my frame sliders, run straps down underneath the subframe and jack up the rear, then lock the staps. then your bike is rock solid and while the swingarm is out you can runa steel rod of some sort through the swingarm mount to lower it back down.

I was thinking the same but red. I was going to take all the stickers off and paint honda red on the bottom. I look to do it while I spend my first winter in germany. Not a whole lot of riding then...lol
