I'm looking into replacing my chain. It's all nasty and who knows how old. I want to replace it not because it's broken or anything, I just want something a little cleaner. I plan to keep up with the cleanliness this time.

My current chain is all gritty and nasty. Anyone know where I can get a new chain? I checked cheapcycleparts, but they are only like $4-10. Is that an accurate price for a new chain?

A decent chain is right around $100-$115 shipped for an RK gold x-ring. That's what I use.
O-ring/X-ring name brand chains is all I'd run. DID and RK.
It looks like you got the price on a master link only. (single link to join the chain)

I would just clean the one you have if it's not worn out.
