more power please!
ok so i have an 09 600rr and ive been saving up to buy another bike(09 cbr1000rr) but im not even close yet but i do have enough to do a complete bazzaz zf-i set up with the auto tune and z-bomb but i was wondering if i should go down this road. also i bought the bike brand new in november and it now has 7k miles what kind of life span am i looking at with this bike, and will installing those items shorten the life of it.
you want to get the most bang for your buck gear it. put a 520 chain on it do 1 down in the front 1 or 2 up in the rear. total investment is like under 300 bucks. you will see 6 plus tourqe gain. how much is the bazaaz system?
Life span varys. How hard to your drive it? How well do you maintain it? Will you be hit by a cager or lay it down? Almost impossible to give a life span.
+1 on Phil then a lil bit of Jules: upgrade the rider, not the bike. Unless there's a stopwatch measuring how fast you run the quarter, what's the difference between a 1000rr and a 600rr 0-60?
Sometimes its not a popular opinion when talking bikes, but I feel unless there's a need for a liter bike (racing) most people are wasting its power and endangering themselves. Seriously, most professional racers on a 600 can beat any of us on a liter. So if anything, that's the plateau of skill we should be trying to attain.
Not the bike under them

I've got a 900 and I have the same gear combo on that and its hard to keep the front end down. You talking about torque that 900 has it. Johnnyh
