I bought my2007 honda cbr 600rrback in may and it is my first street bike... I had the 600 mile service done but how often should i get a oil change done?

 

you should do it yourself, not get it done, it's easy
everyone will have a different opinion as to how often to change oil, some say every 12 months, some say every couple thousand miles, if I were you I would probably do every 2500-5000 miles (depends on how often you ride)

 

atleast once a year or every 4k miles, which ever comes first.

it wouldn't hurt to do it more often then that, but i would not do it any less, especially if you ride hard.
