i would put it inside, or get a garage. hell, even a storage unit. i pay $60/mo just to have a garage at my apt so i can lock mine up. as stated before, if they want it, they will get it. first, second, or third time they come, they will get it. especially after the unlocked ones are already in their garage.

 

Insurance is the only real protection for your bike. Locks only keep the honest people honest. Hell, I would go to jail for the things I would do to somebody if I caught them messing with my bike. Hopefully you'll get a new bike out of the deal...but either way...sucks man.
