Default Hid's fried his bike

A friend of mine put hid's in his bike and now he's saying there's no constant power to the tach, trip and time reset's whenever he turns it off. Also he said where ever the needles are pointed when the power is cut is where they stay. He said something about it riding funny but couldnt describe what about it that was different...anybody have any tips?

The HID's didn't do it unless they were installed incorrectly or just plain broken.

HID's are on a circuit all its own basically. Your headlights are on their own Fuse.

The HID's are probably not the prob in this case.. but electrical can change the ride of his bike (as far as engine performance goes) Fuel injection and all the other gazillion sensors on the bike are electrical.... Just sayin..
