Default Fried Cables

Hello,

My bike stopped when I was riding, then i saw that my battery was dead, i tried to push start, it started for 10 second, then it didnt again.

Then I started take out plastics and that's what i've found.

Should i just change rectifier or is there any way to test my rectifier is good or bad?

Thank you.

Fix the wiring. Just bypass the connector if you dont want to replace it. Test your charging system. That will tell you if the r/r is any good.

if its getting hot enough to melt the connectors, then the r/r is probably bad.
i recently replaced mine with one from a gixxer. 2002 or 2003 i believe.
its significantly larger and a bit of a paint to mount, but works like a charm.

x2 I also went with the gsxr R/r, it is bigger but it's the heatsinks that are whats bigger.
