Fuel Gauge
ok i was on my way home from work this morning and i had just got off the freeway and my bike died. it said i had three bars left on the fuel gauge so i had no clue what was going on. so i pushed the bike just over a half mile to a gas station cause i was stuck on a bridge. scared ****less cause it was still dark out and cars were coming. so i get to the gas station and put gas in it to see if that was the problem and sure enough it started right up as soon as i filled it up with gas. has anyone else had a problem with there gas gauge being that inacurate. is there a way to adjust it or do i need to take it to the dealer?
My gauge reads perfect, its about the only thing I look at on the bike while riding. I can squeeze 150 until reserve light pops on if I am just crusin with my girl on the back, but if i am rippin i pretty consistantly get 100 or so on a tank. If you dunno if your gauge is workin, gas up every 100 miles
