Hey all my buddy just got an 05 F4i and his fuel Gauge will not show but does a self check at start up. I also noticed it said res on the check I ride a 600RR and mine stays on all the time but never see the Res thing. Does the F4 fuel gauge only come on when the bike is in reserve? Thanks

 

Yeah,I have an 02" f4i and just figured that out myself.I was going to take it in and have it looked at but when I hit my reserve the gauge came on.I guess it only works that way on the f4i.

 

yes my friend has a 04 cbr f4i and that is the only time it comes on is when you get low in gas. i just tells you that you have i thin .9 gallons left.
