One of my buddies was given an 06 cbr 600rr stock exhaust. he gave it to me, if I cut it open take out the catalitic converter and the strip out the baffle, will I gain anything as far as power goes? Or should i not even waste my time....I would by a whole new exhaust I just dont have the money right now.

 

Hm, it would be like running an open pipe.. It would be loud as hell but im pretty sure there would be no gain in power... Possibly a loss. IMO, i may be wrong and im sure I am but I would say wait until you can do the real deal.
