the acceleration just felt a little like when my f4i needed a new clutch. i'll check how it feels riding again on saturday.

Alright, point taken. I guess I'm just not convinced that the added expense for synthetic is worth any benefit to my bike. I pay around $4.50 a quart for Honda GN4, and any syn is gonna cost more than double. . .for what? Uphere in MAI change my oil twice a season, when it comes out of storage in spring, and when it goes back in storage in winter. I'd still have to do that even with synthetic.
