Mine runs consistantly at around 180 "which is where they make optimal power" however at lights or when I'm at the track I have run it hard enough to get into the LOW 200's range... at that point though I stop running it and find a cool place to park it and let it cycle until it cools down enough to shut it down.

At 220F-ish, the fan should kick in. Overheat is at 250F.

Constant movement & airflow will usually keep you under 200F. Stop and go traffic, city riding and etc will have the fan kicking on and off.

Good lord do you really?

I haven't had the 09 in the heat yet so its hard for me to comment on the 09 but my 02F4i would hang out 180's/90's when moving, and when in traffic or stop the fan would be coming on and off as Kuro said around the 220's. Never gets over 228.

Nate my RR the fan comes on at 220ish as well. My F4i would get to 232 on a hot day in at a light. You have nothing to worry about until the temp goes over 240
