Hey whats up? I sold my F4I back in March and bought an FZ1 which I like but Im going back to the track and the fizzy just dosent cut it. Anyway, I am doing the old trade in for an 04 600RR and I was wondering if there were any issues or quirks with the bike. Like the FZ1 there is the throttle ****** problem and now there seems to be frame cracking issues that are popping up here and there. Any input would be great and who wants to buy some plastics from this bike come winter time, because by then she is getting race plastics.

A PC will correct any throttle issues. Mine is an 06 though, so they really are different. I went from a Bandit 1200S as a track bike to the RR. MUCH happier with the RR! Never even heard or any frame issues with these though.

 

Thanks for the reply. Now after doing a little investigating I found that the 05 has inverted forks and an engine upgrade and a brake upgrade. So I have the opportunity to get an 05. About the frame issues, on the FZ website there have been only a few cases of the a weld cracking on the right side of the bike. I didnt read every post so I dont know if they were afer a spill or wheelies or what ever the case.
Anyway thanks again, and I should know by Wednesday if Im getting it or not.

 

I will say this........ My buddy has an 03 RR that is tuned with a PC and he tracks it as well. My 06 is faster and handles better without a doubt.
