I got my bike back finally and everything seems to be in working order now. Sorry, I haven't had time to post anything. Thanks to everyone who've offered their input. This forum has turned out to be a VERY helpful tool.
It turns out that the battery was dead and all the fuses had blown again. The shop charged the battery over night (again) and replaced all the fuses (again). They couldn't tell me exactly what blew all the fuses and drained the battery. But, like one of you said, when you start tampering with electrical stuff, you're probably going to run across some mishaps. I'll keep a close eye on everything. So far, I haven't noticed any exposed wires that could be draining the battery juice.
Again, thanks for all your help everyone.
