ok, replaced the fairings. plugged everything back in. installed new turn signals as well. go to turn bike on, nothing. bought a battery charger/tender. charge the batter overnight, fully charged. turn the bike on, fuel pump primes, everything works, click the starter, click click click, but bike wont start. any help/advice would be greatly appreciated?!

hmm sounds pretty similar to my issues. I am not 100% sure on these methods but the following things are what I have been told to check from people on these forums.
-check to make sure you didnt blow any fuses while wiring new signals
-simple things like making sure kickstand it up, bike is in Nuetral, clutch is in, engine kill switch is not on, you have fuel, and then if all that seems good then I would give your bike a good look over and make sure you didnt somehow miss something to plug in.

I know most of those things sound pretty simple/stupid but you would be suprised at what some people forget to do. hope you get it started!!!

 

yea i agree with the littlest things. all that seems to be in order however. once im off work, its straight to the garage this evening until my baby is up and going again, will try everything i am told about on here and over on 600rr.net...may have to bring the laptop for the wireless internet for hep tonight!! haha thanks al in advance for any help.

 

ya I know the feeling of not having your baby running, my cbr 1000rr is in my shop waiting for parts but she hasnt been ridden since May 22nd when she was destroyed. so good luck getting her started and Im hoping it all works.

 

YESSS! Success!! open the throttle full, then started her, worked like a charm! thanks aj for your help and comments.

 

now hearing your happyness puts me in the mood to go out in the cold to work on my baby, I wish mine was as easy as opening the throttle lol I have no clue what else to check but my guess is ill go out there, turn on the music and take her all apart then put her together and see if anything changes! Glad to hear she started for ya though.
