sticky throttle
A few weeks ago, after i got my bike out of the shop i noticed some slop in the throttle cable. So i got down by the throttle bodies and took the slack out. I noticed that with the bars all the way to the left (kickstand down position) the throttle rolls forward and snaps back freely, but as i rotate the bars to the right, the throttle becomes increasingly hard to turn, and very slow to snap back.
Is there some lubricant i can shoot into the tubing to free this up or something else i can do?

Check the cable routing, to make sure the housing is not being pinched in any way. This could be a dangerous situation. Lubing will not really be a help if changing the position of the bars creates this condition.
sounds like the cable is too tight somewhere or binding on something, I've heard that happen when they work on bikes with the bars straight and when they bring them back down, they don't account for the fact that things are going to HAVE to be a little slacker. It's a noobie mechanic mistake actually. My sense says don't touch it and take it back to them and have them do it immediately. If they say they are going to keep it for a week or whatever tell them you want the work done and you want a refund for all your service. If not, civil suit. I work in courts, it's an easy win. Might mean a new bike for you, who knows... Cheers
