Would you happen to have a wiring diagram for the Koso gauges on the f4? I am on the fence between buying a new oem cluster to replace my cracked one or an aftermarket one like the Koso. I am worried with the aftermarket I would lose certain things so if you had a diagram that would be awesome.

Got the bike reregistered today and immediately took it for a ride... and ran out of gas . The bike feels crazy different, got about halfway done with setting up my baseline suspension but I think I will be taking it rather easy for the next few months, its been a year and I got some bad habits. So far love the suspension but need to get used to the throttle and power delivery, there is a big flat spot 'til 5,500 rpm - not good for my neighbors .

here is my wiring diagram for the gauges:

Oh and since I had all this time on my hands with the motorcycle I finally got around to building my touring bike; I built one for my dad and this one for me all I need to do to finish it is the wheels, they are laced but one of my wheel building tools broke so they are waiting to get finished. If anyone needs work done on their bikes and they are in SD hit me up used to be a cert'ed mechanic before I joined the military.

Yea love to help! Went for another ride, the dust is coming of and rust breaking free. Oh and finally jammed that tank foam into the tank and its nice! It feels like the tank is empty with no sloshing whatsoever! Still getting used to the faster throttle

Did you seriously PCS to SD? I just realized SD in this case is San Diego not South Dakota. Man I was about that say that would suck nuts if you PCSed like that this time of year. Beside that what is the tank foam for, just to keep the fuel from sloshing about while riding and what keeps it from melting?

Yup sitting here in at least three feet of deep sunshine right now I'm Loving San Diego right now, I think I might do a holiday card to family in the snow wearing all my snowboarding gear on the beach, just to poke fun at them. I honestly could not tell you why it doesn't melt other than the type of material it is made out of but it doesn't I stuck it in a gas can and left it for a month and no issues so I put it in the tank. the main point of the foam is to reduce the slosh and the weight that is felt with it sloshing around, probably not needed but it fit the bill to get free shipping and was cheaper than it would have costed without. It also displaces so little fuel I know that I wont be able to notice, I stuffed them in on a full tank and it didn't raise the level at all. I am a tad worried about when it gets to low fuel but we shall see.

Ok been riding a lot lately and somethings that I need to sort out. Right now I'm getting about 225mpg, but thats with being heavy handed when I can get away with it on streets. Starting to get used to the throttle but now I need to redo the brakes, both front and back feels squishy and don't grab until I take the lever in about half way. The rear end becomes washy under medium braking but feels solid in corners and the bike is somewhat sluggish in standing up. So I'm thinking that I need to redo the brake fluid, raise both front and rear ride height a few mm and increase front preload a 1/4 turn. Getting ready to kick off the West to East coast sprocket challenge too!
