Talking My F4 mod log. - most current info is on page 1

This Project has morphed from a simple remove the rust and clean up to a total restore and track bike creation. I do plan on racing this bike competitively, however I do not have the funds to simply buy everything at once. Because of this lack of funding, the project has become a labor of love and a test to my abilities and imagination. Currently I am looking for a spare engine I can build up than swap with my current one so I can build this one up as well.

If anyone has any questions or comments I am always open to discussion, you helping me with something or me helping you. There have been quite a few contributors to this build, many on this forum, many off of it as well. The most notable on the forum know who they are because they contribute and help everyone; but off the forum my wife has been there every step of the way even helping me redo the wiring harness and pushing me to finish the bike. So with that this bike is very much a product of my imagination, as well as this forum's, it is displayed by the amount of time and effort the community puts back into itself.

I plan on hosting the pictures for as long they will let me and maintaining this build log alongside of the bike in the hopes of someday, if I must part with this bike, I can use it to document the bikes life. With that being said, and the fact that this bike has consumed my life for the better part of two years now, my wife had decided that there should be a name for the bike. We sat down and thought long and hard trying many different names that didn't fit or were just plain wrong, we settled on Abigael, or Abby for short. There is no real reason other than it fit for some reason, and that Abigael is a bit of an old name but still had that "spunk" or "pep" in it. So Abby it is and I will find some way to brand that on there so no one can change it.

Sorry about your fuel line. Take it to any bike shop (so they know the size) & they should have replacement. Many auto supply shops have it as well. Generic fuel line usually comes in rolls. They cut & charge by length. Good luck.

Good job on the split-seat conversion. Once you get your undertail installed, it will look a lot cleaner w/o that inner fender/battery tray sticking down.
