I am pretty sure you know this but your front tire/wheel is on backwards.

So, with the ohlins damper and 1000rr triple, did you have to grind down that nub thing on the top triple cover to fit the ring around the top nut?

Also, what is the line wrapping around your caliper?

Ha, yea I put it on snapped the photo and by the time I noticed I had left the house. Face meet palm.

Actually I didn't have to grind anything it was straight bolt on. And that line is my speed sensor, I'm looking at other places to mount it because it gets in the way of removing the wheel.

Cool. Looks good though. I finished my 1000rr front end swap and was looking for a damper. I am assuming your Ohlins is for the 600f4 rather than a 1000rr because of the tank mount portion.

yea its for the F4 and it mounted right up no problems, seems nice just big but I like it.

Just picked out the colors for the fresh paint! Pretty excited they are installing the fairings as well so that's good, well at least they are leaving the track ones on and it should all be done by the end of the week. Sadly I had to give the paint shop the bike so they can test fit the fairings and make sure everything lines up well, but I will give you guys the colors that I picked out. Very close to OEM but should make the bike POP! Let me know what you guys think!

So in lew of not having photos of the bike here are two photos of the truck I had to buy, got a great deal on it but had to drop $400 to get it fully fixed but everything should be good after that. The wife, being the great sound engineer she is, wants to put a nice sound system in it as well. Hopefully she will pitch in for said system. We are looking at getting the Pioneer appradio 3 with some speakers, an amp and a small sub. She knows more about it than me so if any of you can make some recommendations, than I can tell her and she will think I know what I'm talking about.

the rims and exhaust aren't my cup of tea but hey beggers cant be choosers.

Alright finally down in sunny San Diego, weather is sooo much more conducive to riding The truck did great - I knew it would - and I'm already carving out a spot to put the finishing touches on the bike so I can get riding again! Ironically I bought the bike in del mar and rode it all the way up to the Bay Area and now the bike's back in the SD area.

Photos of the fairings should be mounted up here shortly:

finally, after catching up on much needed maintenance on the truck i finally got to making a bracket for the gauges, I know the whole sticker bomb isn't a lot of peoples favorite but I kinda like the little touch right now and it was free to do. I made the mount on the larger side so I have room to mount a gear indicator, volt meter and run start switches. Let me know what you guys think!
