i just bought a bike, have a few questions please?
first off the bike has been laid down and it appears the right side fairing has been replaced, the paint color and texture are slightly off, and the fairing slider is busted off at the end of the bolt, the other side is still intact but its only a plastic puck, that sits on an extended bolt over the plastic, the fairing isnt cut at all is this sufficient? Should I replace them both with something else everything I can find seems to require the fairing to be cut..
then when I was detailing the bike i noticed 8 small 1/4 oz squares on both the front and rear rims, on the left side, what difference would 2 oz even make, what would be the purpose of this?
also the previous owner put on front turn signals that must be some pretty cheap aftermarket, they fit in the fairings very loose and they melt if im not riding fast, i was parked for less than five minutes with the lights on and they started dripping molten plastic, could anyone direct me to something that will fit correctly and possibly be closer to stock, but still at a resonable price?
thanks for your help!
bike is a 2000 600 f4

Welcome to the forum.
No, its not sufficient. Only cut sliders really provide any true measure of protection. Get a good quality pair of frame sliders, drill your fairings, & install.
Wheel balancing weights. Yes, even small weight can have a huge dif on balance.
You need to replace those immediately! Be sure to repair any damaged wiring to the wiring harness. I have Hot Bodies LEDs. However, if you want a stalk type signal, I recommend - DRC PRODUCTS - . They are high quality & built to last. However, there are other options.
