Default Hello everyone. I just bought a cbr and have a few questions.

I picked up a 01 f4i for $800. The frame needs replaced because a garage collapse and dented the frame and cant get it inspected. Any ways the bike supposly needs "fuel pump relays" the ones in this pic-the two under tail. What are these relays exactly and would they stop the bike from getting fuel. The guy claims he put too much stabilizer in it and it ruined the pump. He replaced the pump and he said it burned up the relays.

What do you guys think.

Those are the engine stop and fuel pump relay's. Yes it could keep your bike from getting fuel

something similiar happend to me but with a bad fuel pump relay when you turn the key and hit the engine on switch you will hear nothing no priming or nothing just have both them changed to be on the safe side and check the ecu for loose wires

Also. Do I need any special tools to swap the forks or swing arm over to the other frame?

I'm going to get it running before I swap frames.

But do I need an special tools for removing forks or swing arm or anything for that matter? When I did a gixxer motor I need a special socket.

on the swing arm you have the bolt and nut that goes threw the frame and swing arm, after you get that off you have two large adjusters that you will need a tool for either get one from honda or make one like a lot of people do..i didn't see it on other how too's but on mine there are two more adjusters that i had to make a tool for that allow the swing arm to come off...
