ya it was the plugs. they didn't even look dirty. i just hit them with a small wirebrush for about 15 seconds and then it worked like new.???

i'm glad that worked out for you =)
it was plugs for me too
except there was NO WAY i was going to try and wiggle something in that godforsaken slot and get those plugs out myself, so i took it to a shop
and got a new stator while i was at it so they installed my plugs for free
happy riding!

ya i like to take things apart to see how they work, its the engineer in me. but ya if you wren't comfortable doing it i wouldn't have recommended it. here is what you would be left with:

p.s.- you don't have to take the tail off i just did because i thought while it was torn apart i would black out my frame and subframe and i had to remove the airbox too.

it was on there when i got the bike. it was a stainless viper exhaust, but i put a carbon fiber wrap around it. and its dirty as hell because i got caught in the rain. i hadn't had a chance to wash it before i took it apart. it looks about hundred times better clean and shiny. sounds pretty good though. i do wish it was a lil louder though.
