Hey everyone...I'm in need of some guidance w/my 2000 F4. My friends accidentally drained the battery while looking at the fuel pump the other day so late last night I jumped it with my car, started up right away...used the choke, revved it a bit once it got going and all that. It was fine for about 10 minutes until it started to "hiccup" so to speak...then it died. I started it back up again, was on for 2 minutes before it died again. I'm aware that I probably didn't give the battery enough charge from just jumping it briefly. But whenever I start it up it makes a clicking/knocking noise...my friend said that this is a fuel pump issue but we're not entirely certain. I was in an accident on it a few months back and we're wondering if something on the pump got knocked out of place. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I don't want to take it to a shop unless its an absolute last resort. Thanks!
