Engine Shuts Down When Hot

RE: Engine Shuts Down When Hot
No I haven't. What's the process for doing that? Is it something that is easy to do? I'm not much of a mechanic but I can do things that are pretty straightforward. Any info would be helpful and thanks for the heads up. I'll try anything. The weather is nice and I want to ride bad. Thanks,

If i'm not mistaken, thermostat should be on the left side of the engine. Pull the radiator hose off, drain fluid, and then you should be able to pull off the housing for the thermostat. After this, put in new thermostat, gasket, and put hose back on. Add fluid, and you should be good to go. I'm not sure on the install, but I think that is where it is located. It has to be off of one of the hoses, and I know that that looks like the spot on the side of the engine where the housing is.

IT IS YOUR AIR SOLENOID TUBES!!!!! (im pretty sure)
most likely when you did the repairs, you forgot to put them in direct air stream facing forward.I had this proband spent months and lots of cash until i figured it out. often, aftermarket fairings dont have a spot to put them. next to your ram air ducts, they should be mounted and facing forward. they feed the barrels of the carbs with air to equalize the pressure from your airbox.
check those
good luck
