Geeeezzz I haven't done anything lately... worked on the bike or posted

I have a boy on the way and I've been finishing stuff up around the house and his nursery because she is on bed rest now

I finally have been able to get out of the house and into the garage!!! woot!!!!

So I walk into the garage and see the poor bike sitting like this

So I look over my bike and tried to pick where to start off.

I changed spark plugs

then after that I had to think what next?

I haven't finished my rear braking system the upgrading....

picture of my family

he was born 7.5 pounds and 21in. long

now I go through the days as a zombie running on little to no sleep... But it's fun...

What I've done to the bike since the above pictures....

Well the 03 600rr swing arm sucked trying to fix a 1000rr rear rim.

I went and got a 06 600rr swing arm and that did the trick. I had to mill down the rear brake bracket and put a washer or two behind the brake bracket so it wouldn't rub against the rotor.

I hooked up the brake line and actually took the bike around for a spin which I haven't done at all this season

What's left to be done? good question only thing I can think of to do to this bike is.

1) Carbon Fiber the gas tank ( psst Cjardine)

2) put the forks sprung for my weight.

3) fix the exhaust can

4) fix the ding in the gas tank (psst Cjardine)

5) get the bike painted

6) some rear sets like theses

I know some of you are saying why theses over the woodcraft. Now i'm a fan of woodcraft stuff I think they make awesome stuff but.... they don't offer as much grip as theses. When you have your riding boots on theses dig into the shoe and help with grip. I've tried the woodcraft rearsets on a friends f4i I didn't like them.

lucky number 7 do a write up of doing a dyno kit to my carbs and also a manuel cam tenioner

Fin

Cute pic. :-)

Well, taking the bike for a short spin is better than no spin at all. ;-)

I like the look of those rearsets as well. Got a link?
