Default Why do some Chinese fairings have a tank cover & others not?

I'm after either a Repsol or Rothmans fairing kit.

Some kits have a tank cover, others don't.

If they I could find a race rep kit with the tank cover I'd buy it.

So in summary, why do some kits have a tank cover and the race rep ones don't?

It makes no sense to me.

You might need to post some examples?

Most of the replica kits (I assume you mean a SJR or Repsol fairing kit) do appear to have tank covers. Head over to e bay and search for CBR F3 repsol and you see plenty of kits with tank covers.

the couple of auctions that don't show tank covers say the cover can be purchased for an additional $XX .

Are they Repsol though? Theres a kit in the same colours but the sponsor is SPCA not Repsol.

I'll have a look now.

Thanks

I would suggest stray away from a tank cover and just have your tank re-painted to match. Those covers never really look good at all

Ah, the later F3's seem to have them, but mines the earlier 95-96 model.

You could always cover your tank w/a wrap or CF as well.

I got china fairings, it didnt fit right but I got most of the kinks straightened out. Came with tank cover, I would post pics but I'm a new member..... Dont drop the bike, I dont even do wheelies cause Im scared of dropping her, these fairings are all looks, I sure it will shatter like glass if dropped. Will let you know if it ever happens..hopefully not.
