Looks like some companies are starting to offer tank cover fairings for the F4i. I have a pretty bad dent in my tank from the previous owner and to avoid panting and dent removal (if I can), has anyone tried these covers yet? Do they cause an issue with being able to open the fuel cap?
Any experience with them at all?

$450 is beyond absurd. For the money you can fix the current tank AND buy a real, non damaged used tank.

 

$450 + the shipping is for an entire fairing kit, including the tank cover
I think the shipping is like $200 or something.
I haven't had ANY luck finding undamaged tanks on eBay

 

seems like it would be pretty easy to mold one yourself and save a few hundred lol
