I bought this bike almost 4 years ago to learn on and the fairings definitely got a beating. Finally decided to pull the trigger and order a set of fairings on Ebay. I paid about $520 shipped with no customs fee which also included heat shield, tank protector grip thing, and the new windscreen.
Unfortunately they shipped me a 97 tail instead of a 95 and forgot the windscreen. I am waiting on the replacement parts to arrive, but here are some initial pics in the mean time.

The overall fit was not too bad. I am still trying to get the Upper Cowl to fit better (the parts don't fully line up around the headlight and I can't get 1 side of the mirror holes to line up). There were also 2 or 3 holes I had to drill out a bit bigger.

Also replaced mirror, flush signals in front, license plate signals in the rear, gsxr R/R, seat quick release, and I added foglights in the little vents under the headlight.

 

From the pictures, the fit looks pretty good. I like the color as well. Can't wait to see how it looks when the tail section is intalled. I think you did a really nice job so far. Good luck.

Kinda an odd side note, but did they let you keep the 97 tail? If so, would you happen to sell it?

 

hey, they haven't said anything about it yet. I am going to wait until they send me the new ones and see if they say anything about sending the old ones back. I doubt they'll ask for it back, but playing it safe til I hear otherwise. Not sure if it'll be worth it for them to pay for me to ship it back since they're already losing money with this screw up.

I will let you know if I end up keeping the 97 tail and decide to sell it.
