Default Chinese Fairings - Worth it?

Who has them? How do they fit? And what "company" did you purchase them from?

I ask because my fairings are in good shape, but I am a perfectionist and considering having them repainted and redecalled. I am curious if going with a complete fairing set would be cheaper, easier, and less of a headache. Plus I would then have two sets of fairings, could repaint my factory fairings on my own time (ie over the winter), and if I fell in love with the Chinese ones I could sell the Honda ones to recoup my costs.

So are they worth a try at ~$450? Here's the ones I like (I am a sucker for the white '07, if it isn't obvious )

You're a perfectionist and considering HK fairings? This is a recipe for a nervous breakdown if I ever saw one

Pretty much nothing will fit as well as OEM. The greater your OCD, the worse the experience will be.

There are several reviews of HK fairings on here. Some good, some bad. Most a "you get what you pay for". The biggest factor is the seller. Not for getting the best quality or fit. I'm pretty sure they all use the same 1 or 2 suppliers.

The seller on eBay is extremely important in case anything goes wrong. You will most likely be beyond the 45 day dispute period when they finally arrive. So eBay / Paypal isn't going to be any assistance if there's a problem. So its up to how the seller handles his business.
