Default New chinese fairings for my F2 (Smokin Joe!!)

I've been meaning to show off pics of these fairings for a while now. I broke down a couple months ago and pulled the trigger on some fairings from ebay. I got them from selina moto, $450 delivered and they took about 6 weeks. Packed well, paint looked great, typical stuff I'm sure you've all read about the chinese kits. I spent about 3 evenings with a dremel massaging the body work into place. I also made sure to keep the AC in the garage off so the plastic was nice and flexible. Overall I'm very happy with the fit, it's better than I though it would be. Instead of using the Honda hardware I just used some stainless stuff from the hardware store. I got a little creative JB-welding some nuts on the backs of the fairings (which worked great).

Best advise I can offer if anyone wants to do this is to take your time and practice fit everything first. The main things I wanted to line up where the side panels to the underside of the nose fairing so I fitted those up first then made everything else line up based off of that. Honestly the rest looks pretty decent as is, for me anyway. The tank cover isn't perfect but I plan to install a gas cap mounted quick release tank bag that will help to keep it in the right spot. It will also just cover up the misalignment which works for me!

Anyway, here are all the cool pics:

It came with a free PURPLE windscreen which I was super pumped about!!

Future plans involve powdercoating the rims yellow and purple to match. Other than that I'm very happy with the results.

Here's where I had to trim for my GP-shift (1up/5down) mod:

Various misalignments that I don't even notice anymore:

OK I notice this one but it gets covered by the tank bag:

Powdercoated the back rim and mounted a new tire. Next up, yellow for the front! Smokey is almost done
