Default Weird scratching sounds

My f3 has a strange scratching sound coming from the front area (rim/wheel)
i Checked anything that could be rubbing and nothing found. No brake pad rubbing, no fender rubbing, nothing touching wheel. I don't get it?

the only thing i did since the noise was change front tire.

any ideas???

You sure its a scratching noise? could it be vibration coming more from the engine area? I have that too, just a light sound of something bouncing or something.... i heard it was some common problem among F3's ... Somethign about a belt tensioner?

Check your screen and other fasteners on your bike. I had a vibration noise that was sending me crazy (ok more crazy) Thought it was the CAM chain, thought it was the wheel bearings, head bearings...... you get the picture. Was the one of the two plastic shrouds that sit on the inside of the screen. One had popped out slightly after I gave the beastie a wash. Sent the noise up the screen and amplified the sound. So check over your bike. It may just be the fairing or what ever, rubbing together causing the sound.
