Default Scratching my head....

Anyone have any explanation why I would be able to pull the #4 plug wire and my bike still runs with no sound difference. If I pull the #1 the bike dies.....i can put a plug directly in the #4 wire and it sparks like a big dog....

Are you say the coil lead to the plug (big black thing) or the coil wire (small coloured thing) from the bike to the coils

I have tested both 133.0v and 11.4v respectively.
Its when I pull the plug wire from the #4 spark plug that it still runs. If I pull the #1 spark plug wire, it dies.

If you pull the #4 Plug Lead and it makes no different, then #4 cylinder isn't firing - you have a problem.

If you pull the small black power cable from the bike to the coil-1 only, then it wont make a diffrents until you pull the small black wire on Coil-2

Check for spark, I believe that #4 & #1?? (both leads from the same coil) fires at the same time, so you can switch coil leads to test the cylinder - not 100% on this one, but mostly sure
(Plug ussally fires twice, one on stoke, once 180 degress off)
