weird idle issue
Long story short, when I bought my 98 F3, the last owner had it sitting unused for about a year. I had the carbs cleaned and synched.
Lately I've been noticing a recurring idle problem. After about 15-20mins of riding the idle will stay at 3k+. When I come to a stop in first and the clutch pulled the bike will be at 3k(in fact any gear will stay at 3k+ rpm with clutch pulled). I noticed that I can readjust the idle screw to drop it, and it works okay that time. If I continue riding the bike will begin to rev on it's own again. I noticed that I can force it to drop if I ease the clutch into the grab point, and the idle will drop and stay at 1200 even when I pull the clutch back in. -This problem only happens during the day, at night when it's cooler it doesn't seem to get this issue.
After all that, in the mornings when I go to choke the bike, it stalls out after running for a few seconds. If I turn the idle screw in a bit, it'll start and idle with choke, but then I get the previously mentioned revving issue when it's still cold.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
