Weird Idle Problem

Weird Idle Problem
I have an 05 RR... Anyways so ever since this past weekend if I am in gear and pull in the clutch, the RPM's only drop to about 3000. They used to go down to 1200. So say I come up to a light and I'm in gear and pull in the clutch... it will be around 3000 RPM, then if I click it into Neutral it drops to the normal idle around 1200. If I clicked it back into gear the idle goes back up to 3000. wtf?
Also, seemly related... starting last weekened I noticed I cannot start the bike in gear anymore even if the clutch is pulled in (and yes kickstand is up). I was thinking maybe my clutch needs to be adjusted... as if it is still slightly engaged when i pull the clutch handle all the way back. But that would make the motor want to die right? Maybe there is some sensor I don't know about?
Help!

RE: Weird Idle Problem
i had the same thing happened to me, i my case my battery pugs wore loose and i had to by a battery charger that fixed the problem for me.
i had problems starting the bike and the it was idling in like 3000rpms
try tightening battery cables under the seat and get your self a battery tender.

RE: Weird Idle Problem
nah the bike rides and shifts just fine. Everything seems to be working perfectly besides the high idle while in gear with clutch lever pulled in. I've been trying to thinks about this... there has to be a sensor to tell when the clutch is pulled in... otherwise you could just go start your bike with it in gear. I wonder if that sensor is jacked? where is it?
