I did a few searches on battery and can only come up with hundreds of threads about taking the seat off, stator, voltage regulator... but nothing about what kind of battery to buy. I believe the battery in my bike is dead because it turns off the headlights whenever i hit the ignition, but it doesnt click or try to turn, nothing.

So, I went to Autozone, bought a battery (acid) and the thing comes with what looks like an ice cube tray with liquid in it. Is this the right type of battery? Thanks, i need to get my bike back up and running, my itch is getting worse.
