Default Totalled MY F3

yesterday. I totalled my f3 I was turning left at 50 mph and I was close the the floor and my bike just spun outta control. The bike flew into thebarrier and i flew into the air. Luckly i was wearing my helmat an my jacket. i have a twisted ankle and three scraps on my leg. but my baby is done. The coolant tubes were destroyed the water pump was ripped from the bike i had a whole in the stator and also in the oil pan.. My question is does the 2001 f4i engine interchangable with 1998 f3 engine. or dooes anyone think will fiber glass work to seal the holes and put the pump back into place or will the fiber glass melt or willthe fiber glass material destroy the inside of the engine.

Don't use fiberglass. i'm pretty sure it will melt, especially under intense riding. Just have it welded shut then grinded down. If you don't have the availability of one, try using metal cement or JB weld. Or better yet just buy a new one. Glad to hear your fine... that must have hurt to get toss into the air.

oh man. sorry to hear about your accident and the damage to your bike. instead of the frustration of fixing what's wrong with your engine, it might be easier to replace the whole engine and keep the one you have now as a back up for parts if needed. good luck with your recovery and bike repair.
